Illustrator-extraordinaire, Tom Whalen, is a busy guy! It seems like every day, a new piece of his work zooms around the interwebs. Today’s dose of Mr. Whalen comes to us from Dark Hall Mansion, which strikes gold (er, yellow) again with their latest release of art prints, this time celebrating the Beatles’ Yellow Submarine.
This is first time ever the Beatles have formally let the Yellow Submarine imagery be reinterpreted, and Tom Whalen did them justice, perfectly capturing the fun and crazy vibe of the movie. The prints are screen-printed and measure 18″x24″, and come encased in a bright yellow folio box.

On May 29 at 9:30am PST, Dark Hall Mansion will release these officially licensed limited edition Yellow Submarine folios. Each Folio will contain all five Yellow Submarine prints, in a Standard, Variant, or Elite ’68 edition. These are available in a limited number and will most likely sell out quickly, so if you’re a Beatles fan, you better get there early. Good luck!
