A lot of exciting things are going on with the League this week, and I’m really curious to see how this idea works out… Howie Decker over at UnderScoopFire wanted to run a League topic that is a little more focused than the topics we usually tackle with our weekly blog challenge. The result is the first League of Extraordinary Bloggers “Sub-Assignment.” The topic:
Write a blog post outlining what direction you’d take WWE in if you were in charge of Creative. You can be as detailed as you like, going with a broad overview or just a few bullet points of matches you’d make, pushes you’d give, face/heel turns you’d order, wrestlers you’d fire/promote, etc.

Wrestling is a niche that many of the members in the League don’t follow, so the idea of a sub-topic hosted on a fellow League member’s site is awesome. Take note Dr. Who fans–we will never have the doctor as a topic, but if you want to host one on your site, this might be a way to do it!
Ill have to sit this one out. Last time I followed wrestling the Ultimate Warrior was the man to beat and Ravishing Rick Rude was a sex symbol.
Ha! When Howie approached me with the idea, I made a reference to Bam Bam Bigelow’s time in the ring. 😉
Does Ricky the Dragon Steamboat still rassle?
Maybe we do need to have a wrestling topic sometime. 😉
Is Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling still on TV? If they’re not on that show or in a Cyndi Lauper video, I don’t know ’em. Neat topic, though!
