As I’ve mentioned before, my favorite show on TV is the History Channels’ American Pickers. The show’s hosts, Mike and Frank, along with the lovely Danielle, run a business called Antique Archaeology in LeClaire, Iowa. I just discovered their web site which has some interesting tidbits, but I was really excited to see a section where they sell the items they ‘pick.”
There’s not a ton of stuff here, but if you make a purchase, you will receive an autographed glossy 5×7 picture of the Antique Archaeology crew. Personally, I loved this guy…
This bad boy kind of creeps us out. Well made out of plywood and eighteen inches tall, mid-century. Amaze your friends with your finely tuned ping pong ball tossing skills.
Head on over to Antique Archaelogy and check it out!

I love watching the show, but I’m getting bored with the buying of signs,
bikes, bike parts, motorcycles and parts or clocks! What happens to other
vintage or antique things you buy?

Hello, my name is Dean Peck and I live in Cheyenne Wyoming. I was watching the new episode on monday 8\27\12 and Frank bought a box of vintage eye glasses. I thought I saw some old round John Lennon style glasses. I wear this style and was wondering if u were selling them and mostly were there any of this style of glasses. I hope to hear back because they are hard to find and the ones u do find they are built cheap. I would be interested in parts also.

We have something we thought you might be interested in.
My name is Bob Wilson. When I was about 6 years old ( I am 80 years old now ) I danced for my aunt Olive Vale at the Hall of Mirrors in Cincinnati, Ohio. I wore a tuxedo and top hat. My dance ;partner was dressed in a very fancy ball room dress. We also danced at the Ruebles Food Show. My Mother was very much involved in this productions. I have a suit jacket with 6 beautiful minks attached, which she wore to these events. These were very fashionable in the 1940’s. Thought you might be interested in them for your store.
