In 1955, the first figural Pez dispenser was unleashed on the world. Since then, there have been over 1,500 different designs. Pez dispensers are highly collectible and the rare ones can get pricey.
Pez is one of those great items to collect because they are small, inexpensive, and readily available. I consider them a “gateway drug” to hardcore collecting. You start with just one and before you know it, you’re struggling to hide the overflowing box of colorful sweets when company comes over.
I have collected so many different things that I thought it would be fun to try and photograph a collection a day and see how far I can get.
