A Collection a Day #24 – Vintage Superman toys

Just below the Batman shelf is the Superman shelf. I primarily collect vintage Superman items which helps to limit the sheer volume of items to drain the wallet.

The items in the picture above are fairly common items from the 60’s and 70’s, and are pretty easy to track down on eBay. There’s plenty of older Superman stuff out there, but once you start searching for pre-60’s merchandise, the prices go sky high.

I love how Supes looks so different in each of these items. If he wasn’t wearing the blue and red suit, the only clue you would have that it was Superman would be that curl of hair.

I have collected so many different things that I thought it would be fun to try and photograph a collection a day and see how far I can get.
